David De Gea reveals what Luis Muriel told him after his wonder save against Sevilla
David De Gea has revealed that Luis Muriel complemented him on his superb save during Manchester United’s goalless draw with Sevilla on Wednesday evening.
United were under pressure towards the end of the first half and looked like conceding before De Gea pulled off a sublime reflex save to deny Muriel’s goal-bound header.
The Sevilla striker even went up to De Gea after the half-time whistle to congratulate the United goalkeeper.
Asked what Muriel said to him after the save, De Gea told MUTV: ‘They said it was a great save.
‘But the most important thing is the result, we don’t concede, so now the result is open.
‘We need to play at home at Old Trafford, hopefully we can win there.’
Mourinho also praised De Gea for his latest performance.

‘I think the clean sheets are because of the team and because of David,’ said the United manager.
‘But we also kept a few clean sheets with Romero in goal so I think the team even with a couple of mistakes the team defended well.
‘And when we made the mistakes David was obviously there and that’s the reason why he is what he is.’
