Ex-Chelsea boss SLAMS Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte over feud
Avram Grant has hit out at Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte over their long-standing feud and insists their row is unnecessary.
The Manchester United and Chelsea bosses will lock horns once more on Sunday, with the pair both having hit out at one another in recent months.
Mourinho labelled Conte as a ‘clown’ for his touchline behaviour, while also bringing up allegations of match-fixing against the Italian.

Conte, meanwhile, accused the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan coach as being ‘senile’ and offered to ‘meet him in a room’ ahead of their latest Premier League contest.
Neither has covered themselves in glory with a row that’s been played out in public, and Grant criticised the pair for the manner in which they have allowed the verbal war to escalate.
‘Nobody needs to say what they said,’ he told Goal.
‘Football is a game of emotions and sometimes even coaches need to be good examples with things that they don’t need to say.
‘I’m sorry about this because they are two top managers and they have done this, but it will be settled on the pitch between the players of Manchester United and Chelsea. The coaches will not play.
‘They are mature people and I’m sure that they don’t want to fight with each other. They did what they did and they will finish with this. The only fight in football needs to be on the pitch.’
