Jose Mourinho plots £80m move for Real Madrid and Manchester City transfer target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly plotting a £80m move for Real Madrid and Manchester City target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Serbia international Milinkovic-Savic was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League during the January transfer window with both United and City interested in securing his services.
The 22-year-old is enjoying a fine season for Serie A outfit Lazio and Spanish reports say Real Madrid have also identified him as a target ahead of the summer.

The Daily Mirror claim United sent scouts to Rome on Thursday to get another glimpse of Milinkovic-Savic, only for the midfielder to be rested in the Europa League win over Steaua Bucharest.
Mourinho is looking at midfield options in the market with Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini both set to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.
Carrick, 26, will hang up his boots and immediately join United’s coaching staff while Belgium international Fellaini is expected to join another European club.
There is also intense speculation over Paul Pogba’s future at Old Trafford, with reports claiming he is ready to leave if Mourinho remains United boss.
Milinkovic-Savic, who joined Lazio in 2015 from Genk, said last month that his focus was entirely on the rest of the season and his performances for Lazio.
‘I am focused only on Lazio,’ he told Novosti. ‘This season, Serie A has improved significantly.
