Cheeky Rochdale fans troll Dele Alli with no diving sign

A group of Rochdale fans cheekily mocked Dele Alli ahead of their FA Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur, by bringing a homemade ‘NO DIVING’ sign to Wembley.

The England international has earned himself a reputation as one who goes over easily in recent times, and was called out on his antics by Three Lions legends Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker after he attempted to con the referee and win a penalty against Crystal Palace.

Former Newcastle striker called it ‘a blatant dive’ while Lineker nicknamed the Spurs ace ‘Divey Alli’.

Though Alli is on the bench for the clash with the League One strugglers, that still didn’t stop him getting some stick from Rochdale’s fans.

Alli dived to win a penalty against Rochdale when the two sides met in the fifth round 10 days ago, with Harry Kane converting the spot-kick.

And those who follow Keith Hill’s side clearly haven’t forgiven him for those antics and aimed a fun dig at the England ace with their creative banner.
