Manchester United set to be without five first-team stars for FA Cup clash against Brighton
Manchester United will be without Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Phil Jones for tomorrow’s FA Cup clash against Brighton at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils take on the Seagulls after a humiliating Champions League exit to Sevilla on Tuesday and Jose Mourinho has urged his squad to make up for the defeat.
The 55-year-old gave an astonishing 12-minute rant at his press conference on Friday in which he launched a staunch defence of his reign at the Theatre of Dreams.
Sevilla’s win has cast a shadow over United’s season and Mourinho confirmed on Friday that he won’t be able to welcome back any players for the Brighton clash.
‘No, not yet,’ said Mourinho, when asked if any players were returning.
‘The squad is exactly the same [as Sevilla].’

The FA Cup is United’s only remaining chance of silverware this season but Tottenham are arguably favourites for the competition given the semi-finals and final are both played at Wembley.
Spurs take on Swansea at the Liberty Stadium to reach the last four, while Chelsea travel to Leciester City on Sunday.
