Manchester United need patience to see the best version of Alexis Sanchez, says Juan Sebastien Veron

Sanchez has only scored once in a Manchester United shirt and was benched by Jose Mourinho for the clubs 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton.

But Veron, who scored seven goals in 51 appearances for United between 2001 and 2003, believes it is only a matter of time before the Chile international produces his best form.
Veron told ESPN: These types of players dont have to prove anything. In order to see the best version of Alexis, one needs to have a little patience.
The former Argentina international also says manager Jose Mourinho could help bring out better performances from Sanchez by affording him more creative freedom in Uniteds attack.
