Prince William celebrates with Aston Villa team after dramatic late Cardiff winner
Prince William was in the stands at Villa Park last night as promotion-chasing Aston Villa snatched a last-gasp victory over Championship rivals Cardiff City.
The heir to the British throne – and long-term Villa fan – was seen celebrating Jack Grealishs stunning 84th minute winner alongside former Villans striker John Carew, as he made a rare appearance at his favourite football teams home.
Clearly enjoying the moment, Prince William joined Villa stars in the dressing room after the 1-0 win.
The Duke of Cambridge is known to love his football, and has previously explained why he supports the West Midlands side.
Aston Villas always had a great history. I have got friends of mine who support Aston Villa and one of the first FA Cup games I went to was Bolton v Aston Villa back in 2000. Sadly, Villa went on to lose to Chelsea.

It was fantastic, I sat with all the fans with my red beanie on, and I was sat with all the Brummie fans and had a great time.
It was the atmosphere, the camaraderie and I really felt that there was something I could connect with.
