Mohamed Salah says he has already forgotten about Harry Kanes attempts to hunt him down after the Tottenham striker successfully appealed to the goals panel last week.

The Premier League goals panel awarded Kane a goal against Stoke City after the two-time Golden Boot winner launched an appeal.

Kane has been openly mocked, by Salah and others, for his actions as no camera replays were able to back up his claims he had touched Christian Eriksens cross.

Salah regained his five-goal advantage over Kane at the weekend as he scored against Bournemouth while the Englishman drew a blank against Manchester City.

And although Salah admitted the Golden Boot was on his mind, he was concentrating on helping Liverpool end the season on a high.

In the end they said its his (Kanes) goal so its finished for me. Now we still have four games and they (Tottenham) have five games so I have to think about my games and we see, Salah said.

Of course (the golden boot) is in my mind. I cannot lie – it is in my mind. But you can see with the team everyone tries to pass the ball to me to help me.

I am also sure that Tottenhams players try to help Harry Kane and also Manchester Citys try to help Sergio Aguero. Its like that, but in the end we play as a team.

I am happy to have this feeling. You feel they want to support you and want to help you to score goals. Thats a good feeling.

Liverpool can still finish second in the league, but Salah and his team-mates will be concentrating all their efforts on securing a spot in the Champions League final.

The Reds face Roma in the semi-final next week and Salah said he would trade every one of his goals to claim Champions League glory.

He said: If you had a choice between winning the Champions League and individual honours then of course the Champions League.

To win the Champions League is huge for everyone. I dont care about the rest
