Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Ashley Cole sends message to Arsene Wenger
Ashley Cole has paid tribute to the impact Arsene Wenger had on his career after the Arsenal manager confirmed he was to step down at the end of the season.
The former England left-back, who played over 100 times for his country, was a key component of Wengers greatest Arsenal sides and won two Premier League titles, as well as three FA Cups, before his controversial defection to Chelsea.
Cole rarely comments about his time at Arsenal and once refused to speak about the part he played in the Invincibles side which went unbeaten over the course of a 38-game season.
