Jose Mourinho could not hide his fury at the performances of Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera during the opening stages of Manchester Uniteds FA Cup semi-final with Tottenham.

Spurs got off to a flying start at Wembley and took the lead in the 11th minute as Dele Alli got on the end of Christian Eriksens fine cross from the right flank.

Uniteds midfield struggled to cope with Eriksens movement, and an angry Mourinho could be seen shouting at his players on the touchline.

Both Herrera and Pogba were targeted by Mourinho, and at one stage early in the first half, the United boss even called the Spanish midfielder over to the touchline to ensure his message was received.

He was going mad at Herrera and Pogba, Phil Neville told BBC Sport.

Shouting at Herrera just to stay in the space on Alli.

It was the discipline in midfield, particularly from Herrera, that was really poor in that first 21 minutes.

United did manage to get to half-time with the score level as Alexis Sanchez headed Pogbas excellent cross past Spurs goalkeeper Michel Vorm.
