Paul Pogba impressed by Ainsley Maitland-Niles after Manchester Uniteds late win over Arsenal
Paul Pogba was clearly impressed by Ainsley Maitland-Niles in Arsenals defeat to Manchester United.
The 20-year-old was handed a rare Premier League start in what could be Arsene Wengers last-ever match at Old Trafford.
But the England Under-21 international delivered an excellent performance in Arsenals central midfield up against the experienced duo of Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
Arsenal were unable to give Wenger a victorious send-off at Old Trafford as Marouane Fellainis injury-time goal sealed a 2-1 win for Jose Mourinhos side.
But after the game, Pogba made sure he approached Maitland-Niles on the pitch in recognition of his performance.
The United midfielder embraced Maitland-Niles and appeared to have several words of advice for Arsenals young star.
Arsenal fans were also impressed with Maitland-Niles display at Old Trafford and Pogbas approach at the final whistle didnt escape their attention.
