Jurgen Klopp issues response to Zeljko Buvacs absence at Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp has refused to elaborate on Zeljko Buvacs absence ahead of Liverpools Champions League semi-final against Roma on Wednesday evening.
Buvac, who has been Klopps assistant at Mainz, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, has temporarily left his role due to personal reasons.
Reports had initially claimed that Buvac was involved in a bust-up with Klopp and has left his post, but Liverpool insist that the 56-year-old remains employed by the club.
Buvac has also been linked with replacing Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
Asked about Buvacs absence for Liverpools fixture against Roma, Klopp said on Tuesday: We gave a club statement to that, thats all what we are saying at the moment, nothing else.
