Liverpool have the chance to sign Sami Khedira from Juventus this summer, according to reports.

The Germany international is just about to finish his third season with Juventus after joining from Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2015.

The 31-year-old still has a year remaining on his contract with Juve and would be able to leave on free transfer at the end of next season.

But according to The Sun, Liverpool have been alerted to Khediras availability this summer during negotiations with Juventus over Emre Can.

Cans deal expires at the end of the current campaign and Liverpool face the prospect of losing the midfielder on a free.

Khedira, meanwhile, has expressed his interest in playing in the Premier League.

I often think of the future because anything can happen. Im fine here, but I love challenges and I look for them, he told Bild.

I would like to win as many titles as possible in as many championships as possible.

Among the best leagues in Europe I lack England, having won in Spain, Germany and Italy.

The Premier League has always fascinated me. Winning the title there would complete my collection.

But I do not want to nominate or propose: Im fine in Turin and predicting the future in football is difficult.
