Ranked: UKs richest young sports stars
Golfer Rory McIlroy has topped a list of the wealthiest young sports stars in the UK and Ireland, followed by tennis champion Andy Murray.
McIlroy, 29, is currently ranked eighth in the world, and despite his lack of form in 2017, still managed to see his net worth grow by £28m over the past 12 months to stand at £110m.
Tennis star Andy Murray came in second on the list, with his net worth at £83m. The Scottish player was largely absent from the court last year due to injury, however, lucrative sponsorship deals have kept him near the top of the list.
