Why James Milner misses Liverpool v Brighton ahead of Champions League final
James Milner has been ruled out of Liverpools Premier League clash against Brighton due to a minor muscular injury.
The Liverpool vice-captain has been a key player for Jurgen Klopp this season, making over 40 appearances for the club in all competitions.
But he sits out of the final league match of the season on Sunday after a muscular problem forced him to miss training throughout the week.

Speaking ahead of the match, Klopp said: Its a little injury. Its serious enough to put him out for today; he couldnt train the whole week.
We hope it will work out. But we had to accept it and we had to think about solutions. Thats the solution: Dom is in the team. Now we can go.

Dominic Solanke replaces Milner for Liverpool, while Jordan Henderson comes in for Nathaniel Clyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold slots back in at right-back.
After missing six weeks of action through injury, Adam Lallana is fit enough to make the bench against Brighton.
Good, of course – Adam is an important option for us, Klopp added.
How long [he could play], I dont know – we have to see whats possible. But he trained completely normally, and thats of course good for us in these times.
