Arsenal star Jack Wilshere reacts to World Cup snub from England

Jack Wilshere appears in good spirits despite failing to win a place in Englands squad for this summers World Cup.

But Southgate is set to leave Wilshere out of his squad, which will be announced at 1pm on Wednesday, as he is said to have concerns over Wilsheres fitness levels.

While this was not enough to win a World Cup place, Wilsheres latest social media activity suggests he has taken the news well.
Responding to a Twitter user who jokingly asked him whether he would be up for a trip to Zante this summer, Wilshere said: Let me know the dates and Im in. He then added: Can I bring the baby as well?

Wilshere was named in Englands squads for the friendlies against Holland and Italy in March but played no part in either fixture, returning home after struggling with an ankle injury.
Speaking at the time, the midfielder said he never gave up on his dream of playing for England again.
I feel Im at a place in my career and in my life where I have accepted the past has happened, he said.
