Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred has confirmed that Manchester United are in talks to sign him this summer.

Fred has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time and the Red Devils are reportedly on the cusp of landing the 25-year-old midfielder ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

The Brazilian dropped an enormous hint over joining United on Instagram and has now broken his silence on negotiations with Jose Mourinhos side, as well as Manchester City.

City held discussions with Freds entourage back in January but its understood the Premier League champions are focusing their efforts on landing Napolis Jorginho.
