Arsenal looking to lure Lukas Klostermann once Sokratis Papastathopoulos signs
Arsenal are interested in signing Leipzig star Lukas Klostermann, according to reports in Germany.
Klostermann, 22, has made 74 appearances for Leipzig since joining the club back in 2014 and is regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in the Bundesliga.
The German is comfortable at centre-back and full-back and its understood his recent performances have caught the attention of Arsenal.
Bild suggests the Gunners view Klostermann as a potential long-term replacement for Per Mertesacker following the veteran defenders retirement at the end of the season.
