Liverpool target Caglar Soyuncu in concrete talks with Arsenal, confirms agent
The agent of Freiburg star Caglar Soyuncu has confirmed that the defender is in concrete talks with Arsenal over a move to the Emirates.
Soyuncu has made 55 appearances for Freiburg since joining the club back in 2016 but the 22-year-old centre-back is being heavily linked with Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool this summer.
The Turkey international is regarded as one of the finest young defenders in the Bundesliga and a move will not come cheap, with Freiburg demanding £35million for his signature.
Soyuncus representative, Mustafa Dogru, confirmed Liverpools interest and also lifted the lid on the Gunners discussions for the youngster.

Arsenals head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat, has been aware of Soyuncus talent for some time.

Sven Mislintat has been keen on Caglar since he was at Borussia Dortmund, Dogru told Turkish Football.
He first scouted him back in Germany. Sven is interested in Caglar, there are concrete talks, all that remains is for a fee to be agreed. We will see what happens next.
What I will say regarding the Liverpool link is that there were four to five Premier League clubs scouting him over the international break.
Dogru admitted that several clubs from around Europe are keen on Soyuncu but believes the defender is most suited to the Premier League.
There are four Premier League sides whove made a move for Soyuncu, that we are in talks with, he added.
There is also interest from Atletico Madrid in Spain and a few clubs in France, Italy and Germany.

Im not surprised by the interest, Caglar is a modern defender, hes mobile, fast, dual-footed, has an excellent passing range. Hes also tough and very physical.
I think the Premier League is ideal for a defender with his attributes. I think he is ready now for a new challenge but we will see what happens.
