Sergio Ramos celebrates Mohamed Salahs World Cup heartbreak
Spain and Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has reignited his feud with Mohamed Salah by celebrating the Egyptian stars premature World Cup exit.
Liverpool attacker Salah missed his nations World Cup opener due to an injury sustained in a tackle by Ramos in the Champions League final at the end of May, badly damaging his shoulder after being hauled to the ground.
He did return against Russia for his sides second group game, and scored from the penalty spot, though Egypt nevertheless slumped to a defeat.
That loss meant the Pharaohs were all-but out of this years World Cup barring a miracle, but that never came as Uruguay beat Saudi Arabia to confirm Egypts exit a day later.
Incredibly, Ramos – who reacted angrily to suggestions he had deliberately tried to hurt Salah – liked a post on Instagram in the aftermath of Egypts loss which depicted Salah looking dejected and upset.

The Spaniard was quickly jumped on by furious Liverpool fans who felt he was reveling in Salahs misery, while Ramos himself has previously spoken about how he felt the tackle was over-analysed.
He told Spanish newspaper AS: Bloody hell, they have given this Salah thing a lot of attention. I didnt want to speak because everything is magnified.
I remember the play well: he grabs my arm first and I fell to the other side, the injury happened to the other arm and they said that I gave him a judo hold. After that the goalkeeper said I dazed him with a clash.
I spoke with Salah through messages. He was quite good. He could have played on if he got an injection for the second half, I have done it sometimes but when Ramos does something like this, it sticks a little bit more.
