Josh Taylor is looking to continue his remarkable ascent up the ranks of the super lightweight division when he takes on former world champion Viktor Postol on Saturday in Glasgow.

The Tartan Tornado (12-0) has already knocked off high level opposition in his short professional career, knocking out Ohara Davies, Miguel Vazquez and Winston Campos in his last three fights.

The 27-year-old is now on the verge of a world title shot in just his 13th fight as this is a final eliminator for the WBC super lightweight title, held by unbeaten American Jose Ramirez.

In his way is Postol (29-1) whose only loss came to pound-for-pound contender Terence Crawford. Despite this, the bookies are making the Scot a huge favourite against the Ukrainian.
