Lyon president fires warning to Liverpool over Nabil Fekirs failed transfer
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has warned Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp that their failure to sign Nabil Fekir has triggered interest from rival clubs.
Earlier this month, Fekir was on the brink of moving to Anfield in a £53 million deal and had even agreed personal terms with the club.
But Liverpool pulled out of the deal as they were concerned about the midfielders right knee, which has been operated on twice after a cruciate ligament rupture in September 2015.
But Aulas claims Liverpool will now face increased competition to sign Fekir after failing to complete their move and has promised to find the 24-year-old the biggest club.

He was supposed to go to Liverpool, I gave a green light, things did not happen because they went on for too long, Aulas told RT France on Friday.
Nabil is an exceptional player, he is on the map, hes absolutely unique.
The failure with Liverpool has aroused the interest of other clubs. Everything is possible.
My my goal is to make him stay. I have always listened to the players as a priority, the players are my sons, I hope he will stay.
But if he absolutely wants to leave, we will try to find him the biggest club.
