Darren Till takes on Tyron Woodley for the chance to become UFC champion next month in Dallas, and BT Sport have released an emotional promo ahead of the title showdown.

The Liverpudlian challenges for a belt in the octagon for the first time in his career at UFC 228, and will be just the third British fighter ever to compete in a UFC championship fight.

Till fired himself into title contention back in May when he beat No.1 contender and two-time challenger Stephen Thompson in his hometown at UFC Liverpool.

The 25-year-old steps up another level against Woodley, but the fighter will have the city of Liverpool behind him.

And BT Sport put together an epic trailer which sees Till speak directly to Woodley about the power of his homeland and his fists.

Liverpool is in my blood and my blood is on these streets, Till says.

As you feel these fists, you will hear the roar of my people. The world will hear it too. Every dog has its day and you have had yours.

On September the eighth your dream is over. I will shut your lights out.

Till could become just the second ever Brit to hold a UFC belt, and president Dana White explained why the promotion decided the rising star was worthy of a crack at the welterweight king.

Hes a stud, White told the BBC.

If you look at what happened when we went to his hometown; he looked good, he beat the No.1 contender. Hes an absolute stud.

We love that kid. Hes another one (whos) not afraid to fight anybody. Hell fight anybody, anywhere, anytime.

Woodley has three successful title defences and has just three defeats on his record, while Till is unbeaten 18 pro fights.
