Mohammed Salah has publicly hit out at the Egyptian FA (EFA) on social media amid an ongoing row over image rights.

The Liverpool winger has clashed with his countrys football governing body in the past and has brought friction between the two parties back into the public eye after a lengthy Twitter message.

Its normal that a football federation seeks to solve the problem of its players so they can feel comfortable, he said.

But in fact, what I see is exactly the opposite.

It is not normal that my messages and my lawyers letters are ignored…

I do not know why all this [is happening]? Do you have no time to respond to us?

Salahs agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, also spoke out on the issue.

We asked for guarantees regarding Mohameds wellbeing whilst with the national team, and assurances that the image rights violations wouldnt happen again. Thats all. They have yet to respond.

After a disappointing World Cup, where he was hampered by a shoulder issue sustained in the Champions League final, Salah was due to be back in action for his country later this month against Niger under new coach Javier Aguirre.

But his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations appears far from certain due to his ongoing clash with the EFA.
