Thibaut Courtois aims dig at Chelsea squad after completing Real Madrid transfer
Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois has aimed a dig at former club Chelsea by claiming the standard is far higher at the Bernabeu.
The Belgian completed a move to the La Liga giants shortly before the transfer window closed for Premier League clubs in August with Chelsea signing Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao in a record deal as his replacement.
Courtois was offered a new long-term deal to stay at Stamford Bridge but told the club he would not sign a new contract as he entered the final year of his deal.
Chelsea fans were angry at the manner of Courtois exit and the Belgians done little to help relations by claiming the standard in Madrid is higher than it was in London.
In training, you see that the level at Real Madrid is high, said Courtois.

I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Ramos is the best centre-back in the world. The level at Real Madrid is higher than at Chelsea.

Chelsea have made a fine start to their Premier League campaign without Courtois, winning all four of their games so far.
Kepa has conceded three times in his four matches since Chelsea made him the most expensive goalkeeper in history in a £71m deal.
