Arsenal legend Ian Wright has slammed Manchester Uniteds massive egos Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba.

Mourinhos relationship with Pogba has broken down significantly in recent weeks and the France midfielder was stripped of Uniteds vice-captaincy following the sides 1-1 draw with Wolves at Old Trafford.

Pogba has reportedly responded by telling team-mates that hes embarrassed by Mourinhos tactics after only three Premier League wins for the Red Devils this season.

The World Cup winner has also threatened to leave the club unless Mourinho is sacked or steps down from his position.

Asked about the turbulent situation at United, Wright told BBC Radio 5 live: Do you think Man United fans will sing his [Mourinhos] name if hes gone, when hes gone.

Im not hearing too many United fans singing Mourinho now, showing support. Hes starting to lose them as well because I think what hes doing now is embarrassing Man United and their fans. Its embarrassing.

Whats going on at Man United, a club that I respect – because they were the ones you had to beat, they were who you all tried to reach – and now were watching it all come apart because of two massive egos.

Its totally ripping Manchester United to the core.

In the lead-up to Uniteds Champions League clash with Valencia, Mourinho claimed that some care more than others in his squad.

Asked how his players reacted to the defeat to West Ham, the Portuguese replied: Sometimes what it looks like is exactly the opposite – you can be laughing and be the saddest person in world and you can be with a very sad face and be a fantastic actor and inside of you, you can be very happy.

So sometimes what we see is not what you get. I think that some care more than others.

Every player is different, no player is the same. I see different reactions but sometimes what you see is not really what is inside. I see sad people, I see people that dont look like they lost the game, I see so-so.

But in the little two sessions of training that we had, everyone normal, everyone [showing] the desire to work and play.
