Alexis Sanchez ordered to hurry up by Manchester United crowd after walking off during substitution against Valencia
It was another dismal night for Alexis Sanchez as he struggled to make an impact in Manchester Uniteds goalless draw with Valencia in the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho had called for a response from his players following their 3-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday and while the effort levels were raised, quality in the final third continued to elude United.
Valencia had their chances but didnt have enough composure in front of Uniteds goal to trouble Mourinhos men.
Sanchez returned to the side after he was dropped for the defeat to West Ham but the 29-year-old was largely anonymous throughout the game.
Mourinho made the decision to substitute Sanchez with 14 minutes remaining and while he was initially applauded by the Old Trafford crowd, fans began to get agitated as he made his way off the pitch.
After finding out that he was being replaced, Sanchez made the slow walk towards Uniteds dugout from the other side of the pitch.
