Christian Eriksens agent provides injury update on Tottenham Hotspur star
Christian Eriksens agent has moved to play down fears that his client is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines and denied that he has a chronic stomach injury.
The Dane has missed Tottenham Hotspurs last four fixtures with an abdominal problem that was suffered in the 2-1 win over Brighton, missing clashes with Watford, Huddersfield, Barcelona and Cardiff.
Worryingly, Denmark boss Age Hareide had described his injury as potentially being chronic.
Such an injury can be chronic and it is true that Tottenham also fears that, he said on Monday.
However, his agent, Martin Schoots, has denied such claims and insists Eriksen will be back sooner rather than later.
Some international media have translated Hareides words badly, he told the Evening Standard.

Christian has no chronic injuries — nobody has said that. He just has an injury related to some fatigue and, for that reason, he is having some rest. That is normal because otherwise it would not heal.
Somebody has not translated well. Christian is doing everything to be back as soon as possible.
