Alvaro Morata hits back over tearful Chelsea celebration
Alvaro Morata has hit back at claims that he cried after his Europa League goal against Vidi and claimed he didnt celebrate because of their lesser stature than Chelsea.
The Spaniard had not scored since August before his strike against the Hungarian minnows and appeared emotional as he embraced his team-mate Willian after the strike.
His manager Maurizio Sarri remarked of the celebration: I dont know, but if he wants to cry after a goal then I hope to see him cry more often.
However, the former Real Madrid and Juventus forward has rubbished claims he was tearful and insists he was just getting on with his job.
I do not have to be happy to score a goal against a team much lower than ours, he told El Mundo.
Whats more, I should have gotten more than one and thats why I was not happy.

Of course, I was not crying or many things that have been said.
In England take advantage of these things, because they do not have the same level with me as with other people, but hey, as long as they speak, it means that you are there and that they want you to go wrong in some way.
Morata also opened up on his tough time in English football, blaming his injury struggles for his failure to make a real impact in his first season in the Premier League.

I said it was not depression, but that I had had a very bad time, he added.
I arrived in London, scored seven goals in seven games, the fans sang to me, people loved me and suddenly I got injured, I wanted to play with pain and I was wrong.
I was not there to compete, the doctors gave me the leave but I wanted to play. It was a mistake.
