Jose Mourinho has promised Chelsea fans that he will be restrained in celebration should Manchester United find the net at Stamford Bridge.

United have managed only five wins since the start of the season but a spirited comeback victory over Newcastle eased the pressure on Mourinho ahead of the international break.

The Portuguese was in danger of being banned from the touchline for swearing into a camera after the defeat of Newcastle but he has been granted an extension by the FA to respond to a charge of using abusive, insulting or improper language.

While tensions are likely to be high at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho insists he will keep a lid on his emotions should United score versus his former side.

I think I would try to control myself and to respect the stadium and respect the supporters that were my supporters and my stadium for many years.

To do that should be something I completely lost my emotional control, which is not easy.

So I would think which stadium I am, which public is in the stands, but apart from that is another match for me, I want to do well for my team, for my players, for my supporters.

I am 100 per cent Manchester United tomorrow, no more space than respect for the stadium and the fans.

Mourinho refused to comment about the charge he received from the FA for swearing in Portuguese following Uniteds victory over Newcastle at Old Trafford.

Yes I did but I dont comment, he said.
