Anthony Martial and Leroy Sane steal the show as Chelsea lose ground on Manchester City and Liverpool
The Premier League returned with a bang on the weekend thanks to an enthralling 2-2 draw between Manchester United and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Ross Barkleys 95th minute equaliser maintained Chelseas unbeaten start to the Premier League season and sparked a brawl in the tunnel after Blues coach Marco Ianni celebrated in Jose Mourinhos face.
The fracas somewhat overshadowed a fantastic game in west London and, though Chelsea were pleased with a draw, Maurizio Sarris side finished the weekend trailing title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.
Elsewhere, Cardiff recorded their first win of the season in a 4-2 thriller against Fulham and Tottenham maintained their best start to a Premier League season with a win over rivals West Ham.
But who made our team of the week?
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris
Jordan Pickford ensured Everton kept a clean sheet against Crystal Palace by saving Luka Milivojevics penalty but Lloris takes our spot.

The Frenchman had to be called upon four times as Spurs left the London Stadium with a 1-0 win against West Ham.
The 31-year-old had to be at his absolute best to deny Marko Arnautovic on three occasions, including a stunning save from the Austrians header.
Right-back: Joe Gomez
Liverpool continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win against Huddersfield but the Reds – not for the first time this season – were far from their scintillating best in attack.
Mohamed Salah got back to scoring ways early in the first half but the Terriers can count themselves unlucky for not getting a penalty from James Milners alleged handball.
Nevertheless, the home side failed to create many chances and few came down Gomezs right channel.
The former Charlton ace started his second game in a row at full-back in Alexander-Arnolds absence and he may just keep his spot if he keeps performances like this up.
Centre-backs: Antonio Rudiger & Jack Stephens
Maurizio Sarri was furious with his side for disobeying his tactics against Manchester United but the Blues had Rudiger to thank for getting a share of the spoils at Stamford Bridge.
The German opened the scoring when he powered a header past David De Gea after losing Paul Pogba from a corner and was involved in the six-yard scramble that led to Barkleys late equaliser.
Stephens was starting just his third Premier League game of the season against in-form Bournemouth and the Saints left the Vitality Stadium with a morale-boosting 0-0 draw.

Mark Hughes tweaked his tactics to press the Cherries in a 4-4-2 system and Bournemouth managed just two shots on target.
The Saints clean sheet is just their second of the season and their first in over seven weeks.
Left-back: Benjamin Mendy
After a blistering start to the season, Mendy has featured just twice since September 1st.
The Frenchman missed six weeks of action with a foot injury, though Pep Guardiola has also been annoyed at the defenders time-keeping and lack of focus.
Nevertheless, theres no doubting Mendys attacking expertise and it was on display again during Citys 5-0 drubbing of Burnley.
Mendy played in Leroy Sane to complete the rout in the final minutes to record his fifth assist of the season.
Central midfield: Fernandinho and Etienne Capoue
City ensured Joe Hart made a miserable [and busy] return to the Etihad on Saturday by putting five past Burnley.
Guardiola rested Raheem Sterling but theres goals across the whole of this City team and Fernandinho proved that by drilling in an incredible third in the win.
The Brazilian placed a beautiful effort into the top right hand corner and then set-up Riyad Mahrez to score the fourth on a great afternoon for the Brazilian.
Watford were beaten 4-0 by Bournemouth before the international break but the Hornets got back to winning ways with a fine 2-0 win against Wolves on the weekend.

Capoue opened the scoring at Molineux with a brilliant effort from outside the box to leave Rui Patricio rooted to the spot.
Wolves managed just one shot on target as they drew a blank at home and much of that was down to the defensive work of Capoue.
Attacking midfield: Erik Lamela
Their performances havent always matched their results but Spurs have made their best start to a Premier League season under Mauricio Pochettino this term.
Saturdays 1-0 win against West Ham was a result – and performance – that typified Spurs start to the season in that it was a hard-fought but far from glamorous win.
Lamela is one of the few attackers in form right now for Spurs and his header from Moussa Sissokos cross was enough to give Spurs all three points.
But aside from that, the Argentine was a constant threat to the Hammers defence and he displayed some lovely touches.
Left wing: Leroy Sane
Such is Guardiolas plethora of options at the Etihad, the Spaniard was able to fully rest Sterling as Sane and Mahrez got the nod against the Clarets.
The German made a quiet start to the season but hes recaptured his form in recent weeks and appears to be back in Guardiolas good books.
Sane was a constant threat to Burnley and terrorised Matt Lowton down the Clarets right flank and got a deserved goal at the end when he converted Mendys cut-back.

Right wing: Anthony Martial
His ability has never been in doubt but perhaps now, after three years at Old Trafford, were starting to see the real Martial.
The Frenchman led Uniteds comeback against Newcastle before the international break and scored a brilliant goal to equalise against the Magpies.
Too often under Mourinho has Martial followed up a good performance with a mediocre one but he was Uniteds best player at Stamford Bridge, scoring two brilliant goals.
Martials second, in particular, displayed his eye for goal and Metro.co.uk understands United are increasingly confident of the Frenchman signing a new five-year deal.
More displays like this and itll be money well spent.
Centre forward: Josh Murphy
Cardiff moved off the bottom of the Premier League table with their first win of the season after a 4-2 victory against Fulham.
The Bluebirds were rooted to the bottom of the league with Newcastle but Fulham replaced Cardiff in the bottom three thanks to their win in the Wales capital.
Murphy was at the heart of everything Neil Warnocks side did well against the Lilywhites and he equalised early on with a precise finish after Andre Schurrle had given Fulham the lead.
Cardiff face Liverpool at Anfield next week so it was imperative the Bluebirds picked up their first win.
