Lucas Torreira breaks Firmino and Neymar in half with incredible double tackle
Lucas Torreira showed exactly why he has become such an instant hit at Arsenal with another tenacious display for Uruguay against Brazil during the international break.
The midfielder, who joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in a £26.5million deal, was back at the Emirates on Friday night for the first match played between the two nations outside of South America.
Although Torreira was on the wrong end of a 1-0 defeat, he impressed once again as he locks down a starting role in Oscar Tabarezs side.
Torreira touched the ball more times than any of his teammates, made 44 passes and successfully won four tackles in an all-action display.
But it was one moment in the second half that Arsenal fans really enjoyed, when the 22-year-old made two crucial challenges inside his own box within seconds of each other.
First he disposed Neymar and then, when the ball ricocheted to Roberto Firmino, he performed another crunching challenge that left the Liverpool forward lying in a heap on the floor.

Brazil were not particularly happy with how ferocious Uruguay were in Fridays friendly, with Neymar requiring treatment after a thunderous challenge from Torreira in the first half.
It was the PSG man who was ultimately the difference in the match, calmly slotting home a penalty in the 76th minute to secure a narrow victory.
