Frank Warren: Tyson Fury can emulate comebacks of George Foreman & Muhammad Ali by beating Deontay Wilder
Tyson Fury is in a good place right now. Mentally hes good and physically hes in superb shape. I think the only thing that might worry me is has he had enough fights since hes come back? Thats the one factor people are looking at, but his sparring partners have been impressed.
Hes done well with them all, so hopefully that translates into a win on the night. Deontay Wilder has questioned Tysons fitness, but Big Bear is what it is. He was at high altitude there and came down to the level he fights at.
Look, Wilder has taken this fight because he thinks if he fights Fury now, he wont be at his best. They needed a name. They wanted a big fight and Anthony Joshua refused. It was Joshua or Fury.
Wilders team think by taking Fury now its the best time to fight him because the fact is hes been out for a couple of years. They might be right, but we think theyre wrong. Tyson touched on it this week, and we knew this at the time during talks, weve lulled them into a false sense of security.

They cant back out now, its signed – the fights on. Well find out on Saturday night who is right.
Luis Ortiz showed the way against Wilder. He did well even if Wilder scared the life out of him in the second half of the fight, but in the first half Wilder took some good shots and Fury is a totally different fighter to Ortiz.
Wilder matches Tyson for speed, but not for boxing prowess. Tyson is a master in the art of hit and not be hit. That is really what this fight is all about.
I believe he has to go out there and gain Wilders respect. I dont want him backing off him. I want him to stand his ground and keep him on the end of the jab in the centre of the ring.
Ben Davison is a young man and hes done a fantastic job with Fury, but hes not stupid. Freddie Roach can bring something to the team, so why not have him on board? Its the art of war. Youve got to use every angle you can.
Freddie is in the corner, he can come up with some advice, so why wouldnt you want the advice of a great trainer? I think it says a lot about Freddie, the fact he wants to be in the corner.

I feel Tyson will come and meet Wilder. I think hell take it to him and try to frustrate him. I think Tyson will be doing all sorts of things in the fight, he wont have one gameplan.
He needs to put Wilder out of his comfort zone. Similar to fighting Dereck Chisora the second time, Fury can bamboozle Wilder. I would think the longer it goes, the more its in Tysons favour, but theres so many scenarios that play out in my mind.
If Tyson comes out and does what he did to Wladimir Klitschko, then Wilder has no chance. I dont think it will pan out like that. I think the fight will be in the trenches.
All the pressure is on Wilder. Its in his country in front of his fans and Tyson is going in as the underdog. Hes got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
I prefer him as the underdog for this fight. He was the underdog against Klitschko and done the business. Hes a fighter that thrives on adversity.

If Tyson wins this, it will be up there with the greatest comeback in boxing history. George Foreman put the gloves back after ten years and became a world champion at 45.

Muhammad Ali lost three-and-half-years of his prime and took four years to become a world champion again. If Tyson does the business hes up there with Foreman and Ali.
If he remains undefeated, fights Joshua and beats him too, then Tyson will become the best fighter of his generation and the best heavyweight the UK has had since Lennox Lewis.
