Why Ross Barkley misses Chelseas Premier League clash with Fulham
Ross Barkley was left out of Chelseas matchday squad for the clash with Fulham after picking up an injury in the Europa League victory over PAOK.
England international Barkley played the entire 90 minutes of Thursdays 4-0 thrashing over the Greek side.
But Maurizio Sarri confirmed he picked up a knock during the match and was therefore an absentee at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Barkley, 24, endured a difficult first season at Chelsea after signing from Everton but has begun to show his talent this term.
He scored in consecutive matches for the Blues in October and has since emerged as key player for manager Sarri.
