Paul Pogba has angered Manchester United fans by attending a promotional event in Paris just a day after their defeat to Liverpool.

The World Cup winner was left on the bench by Jose Mourinho as United were beaten 3-1 by Jurgen Klopps side at Anfield on Sunday.

After the match, Mourinho was adamant that he had no plans to bring Pogba on as a substitute, despite admitting United had struggled to match Liverpools intensity.

Pogba has now been left as an unused substitute in Uniteds last two Premier League fixtures after he was labelled as a virus by Mourinho for his poor performance in the 2-2 draw with Southampton earlier this month.

Pogba has been widely criticised for his displays this season but United fans were unhappy with his reaction in the wake of the loss to Liverpool as the midfielder travelled to Paris on Monday to attend a promotional event for Adidas.

The 25-year-old posed for pictures alongside former Juventus teammate Paulo Dybala, while he was also seen dabbing in videos with fans.

And United supporters were furious with Pogbas response just a day after the crushing defeat at Anfield which has left the club 19 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League.

Ander Herrera is apologising to the fans for our recent form, while Paul Pogba is dabbing in Paris…??

An angry United fan replied to Pogbas post on Instagram with: Absolutely ridiculous. A day after such defeat and this dude out here dabbing and posing. Says a lot about the club and some individuals.

The majority of Uniteds players have stayed quiet on social media since the defeat to Liverpool, although shortly after Pogbas post, Ander Herrera sent a message to supporters in which he urged his teammates to improve their situation.

The midfielder posted on Instagram: Today has been difficult day for all those associated to Man Utd, but I believe that we should continuing expressing ourselves even on bad days like today. Our fans deserve it.

All of us that make up the first team are responsible for this situation and all of us need to play our part to improve it. I dont think there is any other way other than hard work and effort, and Ill continue giving my all until the last day that I wear these colours.

In the build-up to the game, Jesse Lingard was also criticised by Gary Neville and Roy Keane for launching a clothing range ahead of the match.

Im not having a go at him for his character because players should do other things, have other careers, Neville told Sky Sports. But you just see that little thing and you think… not this week. Concentrate on Liverpool. No distractions. No disruptions.

Keane added: If there was a good strong dressing room that wouldnt be tolerated. Thats why I worry about the United dressing room.
