Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals how Alexis Sanchez has already impressed him at Manchester United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he has been impressed with Alexis Sanchezs eagerness to return from injury and says the Chilean is in contention to feature in Manchester Uniteds clash against Bournemouth on Sunday.
Sanchez has missed both of Solskjaers games in charge so far due to a hamstring problem but has now returned from Chile after returning to his homeland during his recovery period.
After a slow start to his Old Trafford career under Jose Mourinho, Sanchez now has the chance to make an impact with Solskjaer at the helm.
And the 30-year-old is already striving to win his place back in the team after training on his day off on Christmas Day.
Alexis is back, he flew in [from Chile], Solskjaer said after Uniteds 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town on Boxing Day.
Hes had two days of good fitness work, hopefully he can join in training with the ball as soon as we get back in again.
