Phil Neville lavished praise on Paul Pogba after his brace against Huddersfield, claiming the Frenchman is the best midfielder in Europe on his day.

The 25-year-old took his tally to the season to seven with a double in Uniteds 3-1 win against the Terriers at Old Trafford.

Pogbas appeared reborn since Ole Gunnar Solskjaers appointment and the Norwegians made it one his first tasks to reinstall confidence in the midfielder.

Jose Mourinho fell out with Pogba in his last 12 months at the Theatre of Dreams and left him out of his final game in charge of the club when the Red Devils lost 3-1 at Anfield.
