Everton forward Ademola Lookman said he took the experience of playing in the Bundesliga in his stride and advised other players considering the move to do likewise.

Lookman enjoyed an exceptional second half of last season on loan at RB Leipzig, scoring five goals and registering three assists in only 11 Bundesliga appearances.

Jadon Sancho has also starred in the German top-flight this season with six goals and seven assists for Borussia Dortmund while Chelseas Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a big-money switch to Bayern Munich this month.

Hudson-Odoi, 18, has been the subject of three separate bids from Bayern already this transfer window, the most recent of which was for £30m plus add-ons, last week.

Speaking about his own personal experience in Germany, Lookman said: Everyones scenario is different, all our situations are different.

So I think it is about the experience because wherever you go you can say you are going to play, but you have to prove it.

It is for an experience, learning new football, learning a new style, just being around it. It was different football [in Germany], but I wouldnt say it was daunting.

It was just another experience, take it in your stride and get used to it.

Bayern are desperate to sign Hudson-Odoi as they seek to rejuvenate an ageing squad and he showed why they are so interested by providing both assists in Chelseas 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Hudson-Odoi has featured six times for Chelsea in all competitions this season scoring once, but is stalling over signing an extension to his contract due to concerns over playing time.

The England U19 internationals contract expires in 18-months and although Chelsea rate him highly, they may consider selling him this month while his valuation remains high.

Chelseas £58m capture of 20-year-old Christian Pulisic from Dortmund has been questioned by some as his arrival could further restrict Hudson-Odois opportunities should he stay.
