Hudson-Odoi was denied the chance to go out on loan in the summer, but then had to wait until November to make a start for Chelsea.

The £58million signing of Christian Pulisic has also been criticised, as parents see the addition of the 20-year-old a clear indication Chelsea do not rate their own youngsters.

A host of Premier League youngsters have left Englands top clubs in search of playing opportunities, and Hudson-Odoi could join the exodus which includes former Manchester City players Jadon Sancho and Brahim Diaz.
