How calculated Paul Pogba is orchestrating Real Madrid interest

Paul Pogbas future at Manchester United has been thrust into the limelight again, and reports in Spain claim the Frenchman is orchestrating interest from Real Madrid to suit his needs.

The midfield general has been in terrific form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer arrived at Old Trafford and he was thought to be happy at the club.

There were few concerns that he would push for a summer exit, however, his come-and-get-me plea to Real Madrid has turned the situation on its head.

Pogba, according to AS, has decided to leave United and his agent Mino Raiola is working on potential options for his client.

The 25-year-old has already rejected a fresh contract offer from United and has asked for time to think about his future but Zinedine Zidanes return to Real Madrid has convinced him that should be his next destination.

The only way he would consider staying at Old Trafford is if United chiefs come up with a great offer and he believes he holds all the cards with his contract expiring in 2021.

Its claimed he has calculated Real Madrids interest to either earn him a bumper new deal or to force through a summer transfer away from United, such will be the fear of losing him at a cut-price fee.

While Real are the favourites to sign him, a return to Juventus remains a possibility as Raiola ponders the options.
