Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Nicolas Anelka getting his own Netflix documentary
Netflix have announced that Nicolas Anelka will be the subject of a documentary which will be available on the streaming service next year.
As part of the same series that has seen Antoine Griezmann: The Making of a Legend come to Netflix, Anelka will be getting the same treatment as his compatriot.

Variety explain that the documentary: Sheds light on the world of professional soccer and draws an intimate portrait of Anelka, discussing his childhood, faith, his experience at the Real Madrid, his troubled history with the French coaches, his banning from the World Cup in South Africa, among other things.
There will also be plenty of famous faces discussing the career of the enigmatic Frenchman, with Paul Pogba, Patrice Evra, Arsene Wenger, Thierry Henry all involved.

Anelka won the Premier League with Arsenal in 1998 and with Chelsea in 2010.
The 40-year-old played for 12 clubs over a controversy-filled career, also performing for the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG.
