Rio Ferdinand predicts Manchester United will join Liverpool, Juventus and Spurs in Champions League semi-finals
Rio Ferdinand thinks Manchester United will join Liverpool, Tottenham and Juventus in the final four of the Champions League.
The first legs of the quarter-finals have now been played with Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona and Juventus all taking advantages into the second legs.
United were beaten 1-0 by Barcelona at Old Trafford, but Ferdinand believes after a good showing, his former club can dump the Spanish giants out of the competition.
He told BT Sport: Liverpool will go through. Spurs will go through after last night. Juventus will go through.
And my heart says Man United will go through. My head? Depends which (Lionel) Messi turns up.
Tottenhams 1-0 victory over Manchester City gives them the advantage heading into the second leg at the Etihad next week, while Juventus grabbed an away goal against Ajax in a 1-1 draw in their game on Wednesday night.
