Tottenham confirm significant Harry Kane ankle injury while Dele Alli could miss Huddersfield clash with fractured hand
Harry Kane has suffered significant ligament damage to his left ankle which could rule him out for the remainder of Tottenhams season.
The striker was forced off in the second half of Spurs 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League following a clash with Fabian Delph.
As he attempted to intercept a pass, Kane rolled his left ankle inwards while Delphs foot landed on top of the strikers ankle joint.
Kane has already missed seven games this season after suffering ligament damage to his left ankle.
And Spurs have now suggested that 25-year-old faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The club have also confirmed that Dele Alli has suffered a fractured hand and is a doubt for their clash against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
