John Parrott picks out massive match in Snooker World Championship draw
Stuart Bingham taking on Graeme Dott in the first round of the World Championship has been hailed as one of the standout matches of the draw by 1991 world champion John Parrott.
The draw was made on Thursday morning as the 32 players who have made it to the Crucible learned their first round fate.
While Ronnie OSullivan taking on amateur star James Cahill will grab most of the headlines, Parrott thinks the battle between two former world champions will be one of the highlights in Sheffield.
Its a massive draw, its also a very bad draw, said Parrott. Graeme Dott is one of the better qualifiers to come through.
I looked at him coming though, hes been impressive. Kurt Maflin is a very good player and Graeme Dott just dispatched him.

Hes still a top class match player and Stuart Bingham will not be relishing that draw.
Dott was superb in qualifying, dropping just eight frames over his three best of 19 contests, including a 10-2 hammering of Maflin in the final round.
The Scot was delighted with his performances at the English Institute of Sport and is planning to carry on that form into the Crucible.
The past four years Ive qualified Ive never played that well, said Dott. Thats the first set of three matches Ive played well, and Id pay money to play like that at the Crucible because Id be difficult to beat.

The 2006 world champion knows full well that the top 16 in the world will have been looking to avoid him in Thursdays draw, given his vast experience at the Crucible.
The 41-year-old will be making his 20th appearance at the World Championship and has reached two more finals outside of winning the event in 06.
When I was in the top 16 I was the good draw, you dont want to play Ronnie [OSullivan] or John [Higgins], but now Im a qualifier, Im a bad draw.
Bingham vs Dott begins on Tuesday morning and concludes in the evening session on the same day.
