Roberto Firmino returns to training ahead of Liverpools Champions League semi final against Barcelona
Roberto Firmino has provided Liverpool with a major fitness boost ahead of Wednesdays Champions League semi final first leg against Barcelona.
The Brazil international missed Fridays 5-0 win over Huddersfield, which temporarily lifted Jurgen Klopps side back to the top of the Premier League table, with a minor muscle injury.
Daniel Sturridge, making his first league start since December 5, replaced Firmino but the former Hoffenheim forward appears to certain to reclaim is starting spot alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane after showing no ill-effects during Tuesdays training session at Melwood.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who made his return from a cruciate knee ligament injury after a year out on Friday, also trained with his teammates and is eligible to play a part after he was included in Liverpools squad, submitted to UEFA in February, for the knockout phase.
