Kutch-based civil servant donates Rs 3 lakh to families of 2 martyred J&K cops

NEW DELHI: In a rare show of solidarity, a Kutch-based civil society member contributed Rs 3 lakhs to the family members of two J&K cops who were martyred while fighting terrorists in Handwara.
"This is such a wonderful gesture. I convey my thanks. I am sure people in other parts of the country will follow suit and come forward to help the J&K police who are valiantly fighting the terrorists to ensure the integrity of the nation," J&K DGP Dilbagh told TOI.

Singh said that Dinesh Singh, from Kutch, Rajasthan, donated two cheques of Rs 1.5 lakh each to the bereaved families of the two cops who were martyred while fighting terrorists in J&K's Handwara region.
