JAMMU: India has cranked up precision strikes at terror launch pads and gun positions across the Line of Control in response to ceasefire violations by Pakistan, even as Army chief General M M Naravane again warned Islamabad of dire consequences for its “myopic and limited agenda” of pushing terrorists into J&K, reports Sanjay Khajuria.
Sources said the Army had conducted the “targeted strikes” at several locations along the 778-km LoC, including across the Poonch, Rajouri, Akhnoor and Baramulla sectors. “We are retaliating with pinpointed strikes since we do not want civilian casualties on the other side. If Pakistan opens up with artillery guns, we respond similarly,” said a source.
