Jose Mourinho is convinced scout Javier Ribalta can convince Paulo Dybala to join Manchester United, reports say.

The Juventus superstar is considered one of the best attackers in the world and is thought to be capable of eventually being recognised alongside Lionel Messi.

Barcelona view Dybala as the perfect man to replace Neymar and eventually take over Messi’s mantle at the club.

But, the Daily Star claim Mourinho has already moved to land the goalscorer by luring Ribalta to Manchester from Italy.

Ribalta was the head scout at Juventus and was a close ally of Dybala, but is now the chief scout at Old Trafford.

Mourinho is confident Ribalta will play a key role in tempting Dybala to the Premier League and is privately convinced the Argentina international will soon be a Red Devil.

United will need to spend upwards of £60million to secure Dybala and may be forced into forking out a world-record fee on the 24-year-old.

Bayern Munich and Barcelona will battle United for Dybala’s signature, but Mourinho is confident his side have the edge over their competitors.

Dybala has scored 57 goals in 119 appearances for Juventus and has already smashed in 15 strikes this season.

United have a host of attacking options upfront, but Mourinho thinks Dybala’s speed and creativity will compliment Romelu Lukaku’s power and finishing perfectly.

Dybala often plays as the second striker, just behind Gonzalo Higuain and is used to supporting a No.9.
