Details revealed of the offer Liverpool hope will convince Mo Salah to snub Real Madrid

Liverpool plan to offer Mohamed Salah a stunning £185,000-a-week deal in order to convince him to commit his future to the club.

The Egypt international has been a revelation since his summer move from Roma, scoring 43 goals in all competitions including a brace in Tuesdays 5-2 Champions League semi final first leg win over his old club at Anfield.

Salahs stunning form has alerted Real Madird who are planning a major overhaul of their squad in the summer and are intent on making a statement signing.

The Sun claims that Liverpool are willing to double Salahs currently salary and are keen for him to extend a contract that currently has four years left to run.

Jurgen Klopp also hopes to avoid the scenario which saw Liverpool eventually cave under pressure from Barcelona to sell Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool kept the Liga champions-elect at bay last summer, but eventually sold their former playmaker for a staggering £142million in January and used those funds to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.
