Eden Hazard will wait to see Chelsea summer signings before signing new contract
Eden Hazard has told Chelsea to make statement signings this summer if they want him to sign a contract extension amid continued links with a move to Real Madrid.
The Belgian only has two years left on his current deal with the Blues, though is believed to have verbally agreed terms on a long-term contract that would make him the highest paid player in Chelseas history.
But he is stalling on putting pen to paper, inviting interest from Real, and has now challenged Chelseas board to match his ambitions in the summer transfer market.
Asked about progress over a new deal, Hazard told reports: Im waiting for new players next season. Well see.

Chelsea will look to end a disappointing season on a high at the weekend when the Blues take on Manchester United at Wembley, and Hazard is eager to finally win the FA Cup.
He continued: I need two more trophies: Champions League and FA Cup. I think, to play Champions League next season is important. To win trophies also.
